Terms of Service

Effective date: August 31, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BookMeNow, the booking and scheduling platform available at bookmenow.me and related booking pages. By creating an account, offering a service, or booking an appointment through BookMeNow, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

BookMeNow is a platform that helps service-business owners (“providers”) create services, share a booking link, display a price and their own payment instructions, and sync appointments to their calendar. BookMeNow does not collect or process appointment or deposit payments from customers — customers pay the provider directly. Customers book appointments as guests through a provider’s public booking page. Markets we support include Jamaica, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.

2. Your account & responsibilities

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create a BookMeNow account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information for your account, profile, and business details.
  • You are responsible for the services you offer, including their description, pricing, scheduling, and legality.

3. Providers & customers

Providers create BookMeNow accounts and are responsible for setting their own availability, pricing, service terms, and policies. Customers book appointments as guests and do not need a BookMeNow account. The provider-customer relationship is between the provider and the customer; BookMeNow provides the booking and scheduling tooling. Any payment for a service is arranged and collected by the provider directly.

4. Availability & calendar sync

BookMeNow helps providers avoid double-bookings by combining BookMeNow bookings with the provider’s connected calendar availability, and by creating calendar events for confirmed bookings. However, calendar availability and sync are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Calendar providers (such as Google), third-party services, network conditions, or timing differences may cause slots to appear available that are not, or sync to be delayed. You should not rely solely on calendar sync as the only record of your schedule. BookMeNow is not liable for missed, duplicated, or mistimed appointments resulting from sync or availability inaccuracies.

5. Bookings, cancellations, rescheduling & refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds between a provider and their customer are governed by each provider’s own posted policies, unless and only to the extent BookMeNow itself charges subscription or platform fees to the provider. Where BookMeNow charges a provider directly (for example, a Pro subscription), the cancellation and refund terms for that charge are governed by these Terms and our billing practices.

6. Subscription billing & third-party processors

BookMeNow does not process appointment or deposit payments for providers’ customers and does not collect customers’ card details for a booking. A provider may display a price and their own payment instructions or payment link; the customer pays the provider directly, and that transaction is solely between them. Where BookMeNow charges a provider subscription or platform fee (for example, a Pro subscription), that charge is processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor, whose terms apply. BookMeNow does not store your full card number. You authorize us and Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for BookMeNow fees you incur.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use BookMeNow for any unlawful purpose or to offer unlawful services.
  • Book, hold, or create appointments in bad faith, including spamming or testing a provider’s page with fake bookings.
  • Misrepresent your identity, services, or pricing.
  • Attempt to access, alter, or disrupt BookMeNow’s systems, accounts, or data beyond what the service provides.
  • Use the service to send unsolicited messages or to infringe anyone’s rights.
  • Resell or redistribute BookMeNow without authorization.

We may suspend or remove content, bookings, or accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

BookMeNow and its branding, software, and design are owned by BookMeNow and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. Content you upload (such as your business name, logo, and service details) remains yours; you grant us the right to display it as needed to operate your booking page and account. Providers are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any logos, photos, or content they upload.

9. Third-party services

BookMeNow integrates with third-party services, including Google (for optional Google Calendar sync) and Stripe (for BookMeNow provider subscription billing). These services are governed by their own terms and policies, and their availability may affect BookMeNow features. We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or policies of third-party services. Your use of Google Calendar is also subject to Google’s terms and the scope you authorize.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

BookMeNow is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that bookings, notifications, or calendar sync will always be accurate or timely.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will BookMeNow be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost bookings, or lost data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) BookMeNow. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or, if greater, a nominal amount), and in no event for amounts a customer pays a provider directly, which BookMeNow does not process, hold, or control.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold BookMeNow harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, your content or services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using BookMeNow and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your account is inactive, or to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of BookMeNow after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted in a neutral manner. The specific governing law, jurisdiction, and venue for disputes will be confirmed in a future update pending final review of BookMeNow’s legal entity and operating jurisdiction. Until then, this clause is a placeholder and should not be read to select any particular state or court.
