Connect an AI assistant to BookMeNow

Let ChatGPT, Claude, or Claude Code read your services and appointments from BookMeNow. You sign in to your own account and approve access first — the assistant only ever sees your own BookMeNow services and appointments.

💬 ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT Connectors (Advanced) and enable Developer mode (heed the risk notice shown there). If Developer mode isn't available, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it for you.
  2. 2Open the New plugin dialog directly.
  3. 3Paste BookMeNow into the name field and the MCP server URL above into the URL field.
  4. 4Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this warning for every custom MCP server), then click Create.
  5. 5Enable BookMeNow from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

✦ Claude

  1. 1Open Claude's custom connector dialog — it opens with the name and URL already filled in.
  2. 2Review the details and click Add.
  3. 3If the prefilled form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it BookMeNow, and paste the MCP server URL above.
  4. 4Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

⌘ Claude Code

  1. 1Run this one-line install command in a terminal. It uses --scope user so the connection works from any directory.

  3. 2Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm BookMeNow is connected. Claude Code asks you to sign in from that menu only when BookMeNow protects its MCP tools — which it does, so sign in with your BookMeNow account.
  4. 3Ask Claude Code to use BookMeNow.

🔌 Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open your client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. 2Create a new remote MCP server connection.
  3. 3Name the connection BookMeNow and paste the MCP server URL above.
  4. 4Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts (sign in to your BookMeNow account when asked).
  5. 5Enable the connection, then ask your assistant to use it.

Refresh after the app changes

A connected assistant caches the tool list. After BookMeNow ships changes, refresh the connector so your assistant picks up the latest tools.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select BookMeNow.
  2. Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  3. If the URL changed, delete BookMeNow from Plugins and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use BookMeNow.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. Ask Claude to use BookMeNow.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads BookMeNow's latest tools when it connects.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove bookmenow, then run the install command again with the latest quoted URL.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use BookMeNow.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection you created for BookMeNow.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use it.
